  23. 2. Installation
  24.  
  25. Just unzip the archive, and place the fxpansion!dr002.DLL in the
  26. VST Plug-Ins directory of your application. It's that simple!
  27.  
  28. 3. In Use
  29.  
  30. FXpansion!DR-002 listens on MIDI channel 1, in the note range C2..E3.
  31. It is a velocity sensitive sample player with fixed attack (instant) and
  32. release (just short enough to avoid clicks...). Load a wave (any .WAV file) 
  33. with the "LOAD" button, choose whether or not to play it repeatedly with the
  34. "LOOP" button, and select one of the four outputs. (only two outputs are 
  35. available to Logic Audio users - attempting to use outputs 3 and 4 in Logic
  36. Audio may cause crashes or other unpredictable behaviour).

  38. The names of the wave files you have chosen are saved with your song (or can be
  39. saved in a .FXP preset file); please note that the files themselves are NOT 
  40. saved - please make sure they're in the same place next time you load the song!
  41. If you're sharing your songs (.ALL / .LSO) with friends or colleagues, please
  42. make sure the drum WAVs are in the same place on their machine.

  44. Note to Logic Audio users: because of a BUG in Logic Audio 4.1x (their bug,
  45. not ours), the FXpansion!DR-002 will ONLY work during song playback - not
  46. when the transport is stopped. We're talking to them to try and get this fixed
  47. in the future.
